The Canterbury health system is the one of the largest in the country – and it needs your help.
Māia Health Foundation has been created to enhance this integrated health service, reaching both into the Canterbury District Health Board and out into the community because there will never be enough funds to do everything we want in health.
New Zealanders are a generous lot, and we all know that it takes a community to make a difference. Māia’s fundraising targets are bold and ambitious – they need to be, because together, we will take our health service on its transition from good to great.
We have started with two vital projects for Christchurch Hospital Hagley: a larger roof top helipad and clinical support unit and enhancements to the children's facilities.
