Canterbury’s Most Anticipated Gala is Back!
Celebrating community. Supporting brighter beginnings.
After a well-deserved rest, the Māia Feast Gala returns in 2026, and this time, it’s set to shine brighter than ever — at the stunning new one.nz Stadium | Te Kaha.
Feast isn’t just an evening of fine food and wine — it’s where Canterbury comes together to make a real difference. Since it began, Feast has raised over $1.3 million to enhance our region’s health services.
In 2026, your support will help us transform Canterbury’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) — giving our tiniest fighters and their families the world-class start they deserve.
This year, the Feast Gala moves from the long-table format to tables of 10. You can purchase individual tickets or book an entire table — perfect for friends, family, or colleagues who want to celebrate with purpose.

Together, Let’s Take Canterbury’s NICU from Good to Great
At Māia Health Foundation, our role is to take the NICU upgrade from good to great — funding the thoughtful touches and additional features that make a world of difference for parents and whānau during one of life’s most challenging times.
Your support will help us fund:
• Refurbishment of the two parent lounges and five overnight rooms
• Refurbishment of the Pounamu Room for families
• An ultrasound simulator to train staff in bedside diagnostics
• Comfortable breastfeeding chairs and lazyboy recliners
• Mobile privacy screens
• Equipment such as milk warmers and noise-cancelling headphones
• Eight Transition Care bedrooms on the Maternity Ward
• Cultural design and storytelling throughout the unit
• Artwork to bring warmth and comfort into the space
Join us for Feast 2026 — where every seat supports something extraordinary.
