We've made a great start and now Māia Health Foundation is looking for a hardworking Communications and Fundraising Assistant to support the Fundraising and Marketing Manager with overall communications and to provide fundraising support.
Māia Health Foundation is a new charitable trust established to support our health system. Our mission is to enhance the health experience in Canterbury and the wider South Island by raising funds for specific projects that add significant value to the health of the community.
Initially we're raising $5.2M for two game-changing projects associated with the Christchurch Hospital redevelopment: a range of enhancements to child health facilities and a rooftop helipad - and to this end, Māia needs a Communications and Fundraising Assistant to join our small team with big goals.
This is a newly created role that works closely with Fundraising and Marketing Manager to help fulfil Māia’s purpose and ambition. As the Communications and Fundraising Assistant, you will be responsible for internal and external communications and will lead the drive to engage schools and community groups, and coordinate third party fundraising for Māia.
You will assist in the identification of ways to raise funds, help support our relationships in the community, and work to develop a strong and recognisable brand. Event and database management experience would be advantageous.
The role is fulltime, with an expectation to work outside of normal hours during key events and fundraising drives.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Send your CV and a cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.Back to
