Axe Throwing

Sequence for today:

  • On arrival Māia staff will summarise and confirm this Challenge brief. ​

  • You will see a demonstration of one hand being played.​

  • You will have the opportunity to ask questions. ​

  • You will receive a safety brief and guidance on axe throwing technique.​

  • You will have about 15 mins to practice.​

    • A round consists of 4 throws. Your team has 4 rounds between you.

    • On the board are a series of items. Each item is worth different points.

    • The first three throws in a round will score you points,

    • The final throw will be your multiplier throw.

    • The target board consists of 5 concentric circles. ​The last throw of each round will multiply your score 1x – 5x depending in which circle your axe lands.

    • .You have four rounds – make sure each of you has a turn at the forth throw.
